The Baronets Quarters are located in the oldest part of the Georgian Wing of the building. Sir William Sanford incorporated some pre-existing cottages, when he built his Gentleman's Country Residence here, in 1815.
These very spacious rooms are accessed from the Car Park, via a gentle ramp that has been constructed to aid Guests with mobility issues.
From the private Terrace, the front door leads into the Apartment via:
The Lounge. This very large room is furnished to accommodate four people. The Lounge has a double patio door leading onto the Terrace, with Panoramic sea views over Lynmouth Bay, and to the Bristol Channel beyond. Patio furniture is supplied.
"Second" Ground floor bedroom. leading from the Lounge. This bedroom has been designed to provide level access, and also has an en suite shower room. The room has a panoramic seaview over the Bay.
Kitchen leads off from the Lounge to the rear of the Building. Newly fitted, this space used to be the private Chapel of the Baronet. There is rumoured to be a secret tunnel from the Church above to old smugglers caves down in Lynmouth below, which had an access from this Chapel. But we are still looking for it !!
The Kitchen is fitted with Electric hob and oven, Fridge / Freezer, Dish Washer & Washing Machine.
Stairs led up to:
Master Bedroom on the first floor. Very spacious. The King size, hand carved Mahogany Four Poster bed is naturally in keeping with this grand room. The 1000 pocket sprung mattress guarantees a good night's sleep.
The Ensuite Bathroom is newly fitted, and has Power Shower over a Bath tub, WC & Wash Basin.
Other Facilities include: 32" TV, FREE Internet superfast broadband, FREE Car Parking for one car, FREE Utilities, Linen & Towels.
A fourth person (up to 16 years old) can be accommodated, if using a "Z" bed in the Lounge.
