Lynton Cottage Seaview Terrace s/c Apartment is located in the Georgian Wing of the building. It is located at Terrace Level (up one flight of steps) and can sleep up to 6 people. (More photos in May after completion). C S Lewis the author of "Chronicles of Narnia" and numerous other works, visited here in August 1925. He wrote:

The front of the Apartment is full height glazed windows and doors, to capture the Panoramic Sea views over Lynmouth Bay and out to the Channel.
The Apartment is accessed from the grand Reception, via opanelled doors that lead into the Dining room. This huge room has a Dining Table to seat 6 people. However, the Dining space can accommodate larger family groups, when renting more than one Apartment.
There is also a "Day" bed to provide for two additional children.
Leading off the Dining room to the front, are:
Master Bedroom with Panoramic sea view. Fitted with Super King size hand craved wooden bed. The 1000 pocket sprung hypo allergenic mattress, guarantees a good night's sleep. The bedroom has full height windows and glazed doors overlooking the Bay.
Lounge seating area with Panoramnic sea view seperates Master Bedroom from Bedroom 2. Comfortable seating for up to 6 people.
Bedroom 2 has a King size bed and enjoys the same Panoramic sea views over Lynmouth Bay.

Kitchen newly fitted. This very spacious kitchen is fitted with electric range cooker. Dish Washer, Washing Machine, Fridge / Freezer and Breakfast Bar.
